Participating Basset Rescues

Rescue work is funded from donations, both large and small, from people like you. Most of your donations go straight for veterinary care as each Basset Hound arrives. The majority of them need to be spayed or neutered, given a full set of vaccinations, a microchip, and a heartworm test (with subsequent treatment if positive).  Many of the Basset Hounds also need surgery for things such as suspicious masses, dental care, and eye issues. During their stay, there are also routine expenses such as food, monthly flea, tick, and heartworm medications as well as other normal day to day expenses relating to caring for a Basset Hound.

Since each of these rescues are small and devote most of their spare time to caring for the Basset Hounds and getting them adopted, there is little time to raise funds. Buying a Calendar can help but also visit their websites for more details on other ways to contribute. Thank you in advance for making a difference for each of these rescue groups. Each of these organizations are not for profit charities with 501c3 status with the IRS.
